NOTICE: Please be advised that all hiring of volunteers and practicum students is on hold until further notice in the wake of COVID-19. Our focus is on the health and safety of our clients, volunteers and staff, while continuing to prevent crime in Calgary communities. Thank you for your interest and your support.
Volunteers fulfill a unique need at CJHS by providing a natural support between our clients and the agency. They also bring knowledge of crime prevention and restorative justice into the community, enhancing society’s understanding.
CJHS recruits volunteers on a three-month rotating cycle and provides training and orientation. We also offer shorter-term volunteer opportunities that don’t require lengthy training and commitment. To apply, fill out the Volunteer Application Form and send it [email protected] with the volunteer position in the subject line.
