Volunteer With Us
The Calgary John Howard Society (CJHS) benefits from the skills experience and enthusiasm of volunteers — and we believe that volunteers should also benefit from their experience.
Volunteers fulfill a unique need at CJHS by providing a natural support between our clients and the agency. They also bring knowledge of crime prevention and restorative justice into the community, enhancing society’s understanding.
CJHS recruits volunteers on a three-month rotating cycle and provides training and orientation. We also offer shorter-term volunteer opportunities that don’t require lengthy training and commitment.
