When September rolls around, you never know what kind of weather you’re going to get at the CJHS annual BBQ — but, thankfully, Sept. 6, 2018 got plenty of shine! Over 150 clients, staff, supporters and community gathered to eat great food, listen to great music and enjoy great company. We even got a surprise performance by JJ, who wrote a rap at our Ignite Opioid Awareness tent and shared it with the crowd:
Thank you to all the volunteers and those who donated door prizes who helped make the day a success: photographer Azriel Knight, DJ Xee and DJ Becks, Mike and the Calgary Police Service Veterans Association, Spolumbo’s Fine Foods & Deli, The Cheesecake Cafe and Restaurant, Calaway Park, Shakers Fun Centre, Calgary Alpha House Society, Skyline Luge and Grandmas Who Care.
Thanks for hosting a fun, informative picnic in Inglewood @preventcrimenow John Howard. Your new build in Manchester looks amazing #abndp https://t.co/VPs7qnwlpV
