Under normal circumstances, our Learning Enhanced Employment Program (LEEP) and Digital Literacy workshops would be held at our main office. In the wake of COVID-19, our staff have been hard at work modifying their programs so they can now be delivered online!
Digital Literacy
Digital Literacy workshops are every Wednesday. Email [email protected] or call 403-266-4566 to be added to the mail list to receive notification of times and topics each week. All adult clients with basic computer skills assistance are welcome to attend.
Topics include:
- Tutorials for online meetings
- Online safety tips
- Navigating government websites for COVID-19 financial support
- Tech therapy
Learning Enhanced Employment Program (LEEP)
LEEP Online is a five-day commitment (Monday to Friday), starting at 9:30 a.m. each day.
Online workshops are one hour long each and include:
- Resume Writing
- Exploring Employment Options
- Interview Skills
- Applying for Work Online
- Looking for Work with a Criminal Record.
Participants will be able to earn tickets for either Construction Safety and WHMIS, or ProServe and Advanced Food Safety.
